I had headache during all the days of the last week, the things didn’t get any better on the weekend and apparently I will have the same this week because I woke up with the same shitty headache.

I had an appointment at maternity clinic today and it was tiresome as usual, I had to wait almost 1 hour for the nurse collect my pee and take my blood pressure then she had to sent me to the blood pressure series because as usual my blood pressure was high. The thing is, all the time is the same old story, my blood pressure is always high at first and when I go do the blood pressure series it goes back to normal again. In order to have the blood pressure series done I need to stay sit and have the nurse taking my blood pressure each 15 minutes for 1 hour, only after it I can finally see the doctor.

The problem is, the doctors are always a different one, sometimes you got lucky and end up seeing the same one at least more than once. I really don’t like it but it’s how the public system here works, it works this way and except from that I’m really happy with the Irish health system, but I hate when I end up seeing a bitch doctor as the one I’ve seen today. She didn’t read my chart carefully, probably she was hungry because it was lunch time and after she decided to patronize me and tell me how my genetic sucks (because my parents have high blood pressure and my grandmother had it as well).

I really don’t need people tell me that my genetic sucks, I know it for long time now and I’m really trying to deal with it as best as I can, even more now because I have a little being inside me that really needs that I continue keeping well.

Tomorrow I think will be a more positive day and hopefully with more joyful news, I will have the “big scan” tomorrow to check how the baby is growing, how is my placenta, if the due date will change or not and if it’s possible learn the sex of the baby.

Also, sometimes I have to eat a little more even though I’m not hungry at all. It could be you’re not getting enough calories. My midwife…
